the untethered framework includes tools and strategies from positive psychology, acceptance and commitment (ACT), parts work, mindful self-compassion, brain science, and more. i am obsessed with self-development, self-exploration, and self-empowerment. i love to learn, explore, connect dots, try everything… and then teach what really works.
untethered is how i have personally combined a variety of tools and concepts to alleviate struggle and keep moving forward… it’s how i got myself out of the darkness and shining my light again and i am so excited to share it with you.
the three steps of untethered are:
the self… knowing and strengthening and engaging the self. this is all about self-knowledge and creating a meaningful map of the self.
the struggle… accepting and allowing and alleviating the struggle. this is all about self-compassion and leading your self.
the step forward… mojo and meaning and your next right move. this is all about self-direction and leading with self.
the aim of self-leadership is to build a self led life… to let self drive the bus of life (instead of letting struggle and stuckness decide what we do next!) we won’t learn how to never get stuck again, rather we accept that stuckness and struggle are a part of showing up for our selves… the difference is how we know that we can count on our SELF to lead us through whatever shows up in our path.
